BPSC Shikshak bharti: There will be recruitment on about 70 vacant posts of teachers in the state soon. The government has started preparing for the second phase of teacher appointment examination. The Education Department on Wednesday sent a requisition to the General Administration Department for appointment to these 70 thousand posts in the next phase of teacher recruitment. The requisition will be sent to Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) through the General Administration Department. Teachers of middle, secondary and higher secondary schools are to be appointed in this phase. Of these, there are 37,710 posts of secondary-higher secondary teachers. At the same time, there are 31,982 posts of middle school teachers.

Additional burden of Rs 5512 crore annually The Education Department has also estimated what the financial burden will be on the state government after the appointment of teachers on 70 thousand posts. After the completion of restoration on 70 thousand posts, there will be an additional expenditure of Rs 5512 crore annually on their salaries etc.
one lakh ten thousand posts It is estimated that in the currently ongoing teacher appointment process, about 40 thousand posts of secondary and higher secondary are left vacant. If these posts are also added in the next phase of recruitment, the total number of vacancies will become one lakh ten thousand. 70 thousand vacancies have already been decided by the Education Department for the second phase.
According to experts, the advertisement may come out in the last week of October or the first week of November. The Education Department has already announced that the responsibility of the second phase of teacher appointment will be handed over to BPSC. In the subjects where less candidates have been found than the prescribed seats, the vacant posts of these subjects will be added in the further appointment.
