Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will distribute appointment letters to newly appointed teachers at Gandhi Maidan on November 2. After the declaration of BPSC teacher recruitment results on October 17, the Education Department has announced that counseling of the candidates will soon be held in their allotted districts between October 18-24. A mega event has also been organized at Pragati Maidan in Patna to distribute appointment letters to newly appointed teachers. In this program, new appointment letters will be handed over to teachers who have achieved success in the primary, secondary and higher secondary school examinations.

Beginning of winter session of Bihar Legislature

After this, the winter session of Bihar Legislature will start from 6th November. This time the winter session of Bihar Legislature is considered very important. After the formation of the Grand Alliance government in Bihar, CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav had promised 10 lakh jobs. In this session, Nitish government can discuss the recruitment of teachers that the government has fulfilled its promise. It is estimated that CM Nitish will distribute appointment letters to about 1 lakh newly appointed teachers in the event being held at Pragati Maidan. The department has also written a letter to Patna District Education Officer regarding its preparation.

Secondary Education Director Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava has written in a letter to Patna District Education Officer that teacher appointment letters will be distributed on November 2. The District Education Officer of Patna has been authorized to organize the program at Gandhi Maidan. Nitish government had issued an advertisement on June 30, 2023 for the appointment of about 1 lakh 70 thousand primary, secondary and higher secondary teachers.
