Andhra pradesh: AP government has taken a key decision.

Andhra Pradesh government has taken a crucial decision. The decision was announced by the government in positive response to the long-standing demand of VROs in the state. Issued orders regarding compassionate appointments of Grade-1 and 2 Village Revenue Officers (VROs). A decision has been taken to provide compassionate appointment to one of the family members of an in-service Grade-1, 2 VRO on death. As a part of this, the Special Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department Saiprasad issued an order on Thursday making changes in the AP VRO Service Rules-2008.

With this decision taken by the government, the spouse/children of degree qualification in Grade 1 and 2 VRO family will be given job under compassionate appointment. Descendants of deceased employees will be given opportunity in jobs equivalent to Junior Assistant, this cadre. Meanwhile, there has always been a demand for compassionate appointments in VRO jobs.

In the background of this demand for the last few years, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy gave the green signal to the demand of the employees. The employees are expressing happiness as the dream of many years has come true. Chairman of AP Amaravati JAC Bopparaju Venkateswarlu and State President of VROs Association Bhupathiraju Ravindraraju expressed gratitude for the government’s decision.
