About 200 candidates selected in the recruitment of 69000 assistant teachers in council primary schools will get posting after two and a half years. Pratap Singh Baghel, Secretary, Basic Education Council, in a letter sent to all Basic Education Officers on March 5, has given instructions to allot online schools on March 14 to the deprived candidates due to NOC. It will be mandatory for the concerned teachers to contribute to their posted school by 21st March. First of all there will be school allocation of Divyang women, Divyang men, women and lastly male teachers.

What is NOC dispute?

There was a condition for the selected candidates in 68500 teacher recruitment that they will not be transferred inter-district in future. In 68500 recruitment, hundreds of teachers selected hundreds of kilometers away from their home district also applied for 69000 recruitment. All of these candidates got selected in 69000 recruitment in their home district or preferred district. But the Basic Education Department refused to give him NOC for appointment to the post of the same pay scale. Against this, Rohit Kumar and other teachers filed petitions in the High Court. The High Court canceled the government’s decision of not giving NOC as arbitrary and ordered to give NOC.
