Under the leadership of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the state government has taken many important decisions for various categories of employees. In this sequence, CM Gehlot has approved the creation of new posts to regularize 10528 employees working on contract under Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules-2022 in the state.
The Chief Minister has approved the creation of 4966 new posts in place of contract posts for contractual employees having work experience of 9 years or more working under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA Scheme. These newly created posts include 1698 posts of Junior Technical Assistant, 1548 posts of Village Employment Assistant, 699 posts of Data Entry Assistant, 622 posts of Accounts Assistant, M.I.S. This includes 159 posts of Manager, 150 of Assistant, 48 of Coordinator (Convergence and Evaluation), 40 of Coordinator (I.E.C./Training/Supervision) and 1 each of Programming and Analysis Specialist and Programming Specialist. These posts will be under the administrative control of the Rural Development Department.

Similarly, CM Gehlot has also decided to create 5562 posts in place of contractual posts to regularize the personnel having more than 9 years of work experience in Rajasthan Madrasa Board. The newly created posts include 5220 posts of Education Instructor, 215 posts of Computer Instructor, 88 posts of Computer Education Assistant and 39 posts of Education Assistant.
