All security arrangements have been made in Jammu and Kashmir for Republic Day. A close watch is being kept in all the sensitive areas. Security has been tightened in Srinagar city, especially around the main venue. Nakas have been set up at many places in the city as well as the roads leading into the city. Search is on for suspicious persons and vehicles. Security forces are also on alert in Jammu division.
