J&K Lt Governor pays tribute on Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary

Srinagar, Oct 31 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday paid tributes to India’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary. Sinha said Patel was a remarkable administrator and mass leader.

He said, “The epitome of national unity, a prodigious administrator and Jan Nayak Patel ji devoted his entire life in strengthening India.” Sinha said that Patel’s contribution towards the motherland, his dedication and leadership qualities for the unity and integrity of the nation will always be a source of inspiration for all of us. The Lieutenant Governor also greeted the people on the occasion of Ekta Diwas.

Nitishwar Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor administered the oath of National Unity Day to the employees of Raj Bhavan. Those taking the oath took a pledge to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation.
