Weather Update Today: The weather will change from south to north, heavy rain for 4 days will give relief from the heat, know the latest updates

Weather Today Update: The weather pattern is going to change once again. As soon as March came, the heat had started showing its color in North India, but now once again the weather is going to cool down. It is going to rain in most parts of the country including Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh from March 17 to 20. During this, there is also a possibility of thunderstorm and hailstorm.

According to the Meteorological Department, a Western Disturbance has formed over Afghanistan and the neighborhood. Also, a cyclonic circulation is over Southwest Rajasthan and in the lower tropospheric levels over Northeast Rajasthan. Under these conditions, light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur over Western Himalayas, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan from March 17-20. 

It is expected to rain in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh for the next two days. Chhattisgarh may receive heavy rains on March 18. 

The weather will be pleasant in Delhi-NCR
The weather is expected to remain pleasant in Delhi-NCR for the next few days due to rain. Till March 20, the sky will remain cloudy and it will also rain. The people of Delhi will not have to bear the heat for the next 5 days. The maximum temperature of Delhi is expected to be around 30 degree Celsius. On Friday, the minimum temperature can be 17 and the maximum can be 30 degree Celsius.

Relief from the heat
Due to the rain, the next people are going to get relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department has forecast normal or below normal temperatures in most parts of the country for the next 5 days. 

Tremendous heat prevailed in these areas
If we look at the weather between March 9-15, the maximum temperature of 39.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Mumbai’s Santacruz on March 12. Talking about the hottest day across the country, the city of Mangalore in coastal Karnataka recorded 39.8 degrees Celsius on March 11, the highest in the country in a week.
