Weather Update: The weather pattern is going to change in Delhi, it may rain in these states, know the latest update of the Meteorological Department

IMD Weather Update: The weather is going to change in the country as well as in the national capital Delhi in the next few days. On Monday (March 13), strong sunlight was seen since morning and as the day progressed, it became brighter and hotter. Sunday (March 12) was the hottest day in March in Delhi. 

According to news agency ANI, Dr. Kuldeep Srivastava, head of the Regional Weather Forecasting Center in New Delhi, has said that  Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 34.1 degrees yesterday. Yesterday was the hottest day of March. Right now the temperature is 1-2 degrees higher than normal. The temperature will remain at 33-34 degree for the next 3-4 days. At the same time, after 3-4 days a Western Disturbance is going to affect Northwest India, due to which the temperature will drop by 2-3 degrees.

Rain forecast in these parts of the country

The Meteorological Department estimates that due to the effect of Western Disturbance, there may be light drizzle in different parts of Delhi NCR between 17th and 19th. Light showers can also be seen in Delhi on March 15. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain on 16 March. It is expected to continue for the next two days. An increase in rain can be seen on 18 and 19 March. According to the IMD, isolated rain is likely over Rajasthan, Punjab, and some parts of Haryana during the next 24 hours.

Apart from this, the wind speed can remain from 4 to 12 kmph during the next 4-5 days. The weather patterns in the country have also been predicted to be better in terms of heat for the next 15 days. In fact, Western Disturbance is becoming active over the Himalayas and due to this there may be snowfall along with rain in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Leh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. For this reason, there may be rain with strong wind in many states of North India. The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning regarding this.
