Weather Update: The month of March is only half over and the heat has started making people sweat. The mercury has crossed 35 at many places in the south and west coast states. Meanwhile, a relief news has come out. The Meteorological Department has predicted the activation of a new Western Disturbance in the Himalayas. Its impact will last for two days, due to which rain is predicted in many states from March 15 to 17.
According to the forecast, light rain may occur in Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, Western Himalayas and South West Uttar Pradesh on March 15. Along with this, rain may occur in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and northeastern states.
Rain in Rajasthan- Once again the weather has taken a curve in Rajasthan. Alwar, Sikar and Bharatpur received rain on Tuesday (March 14). There are also reports of hail and lightning at some places. Rain is likely at many places in Rajasthan on Wednesday too.
You can get relief from the heat in Delhi- People are facing terrible heat in the capital city of Delhi. However, there is hope to get relief in this. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of daily rain in Delhi from March 17 to 20. The minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 18 and the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain partly cloudy on Wednesday.
Mercury crosses 35 degrees in these areas – West Rajasthan, Gujarat, Vidarbha, Telangana, Odisha, Kerala, Royal Seema and interior areas of Tamil Nadu recorded maximum temperatures between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh recorded maximum temperatures between 30 and 33 degrees. In the rest of the country it remained between 34-36.
Heat wave is knocking in UP this month – In some areas of Uttar Pradesh, the effect of heat will start to be seen in March itself. Although it will be less now, but its outbreak will start across the state from April. Heat wave will show its effect in the state from April to May. In view of this, the relief department has issued an alert.
