Weather Update: Chance of rain with hail in these states, know what is the latest update of the weather department

IMD Weather Update: The rainy season continues in most of the states including the national capital Delhi. Along with the heavy rain, hailstones fell in many parts of the country and black clouds appeared in many places. This unseasonal rain has kept the farmers awake at night as the time for harvesting the ripe crop is near. According to the Meteorological Department, this rain is going to continue for the next few days.

 

Rain alert in these states including UP

Meteorological department in its press release has said that apart from the western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience thunderstorms along with light to moderate rains between March 19 and 20. is likely Uttarakhand will witness rain and hail on March 19 and 21, Himachal Pradesh and West Rajasthan on March 19, Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan on March 19 and 20. On the other hand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh are likely to witness rain and storm on March 20.

What was the weather like last day

If we talk about the weather of the last 24 hours, it rained in most parts of the country. Heavy rains were observed in Odisha, Bihar, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu. While besides these states Rayalaseema and North Interior Karnataka also experienced hailstorm.

If we talk about South India, there is a possibility of rain in North Interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala. East India West Bengal, Northeast India is likely to experience strong winds with moderate rain on March 19-23. Heavy rain alert has been issued for Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura between March 19 and 21.
