Rain is likely to occur in many parts of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh today. Moderate to heavy rain is also predicted in some parts of Uttarakhand. Rain is likely in some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, North Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, South Gujarat, Vidarbha.

According to the Meteorological Department, it will be cloudy in Delhi-NCR today, September 17. . Light rain may occur in many parts of Delhi-NCR today.

What will the weather be like in Delhi-NCR?

The district administration has issued an alert and has indicated the possibility of heavy rain till September 17. Along with this, rain is likely to occur in Ghaziabad today. The difficulties of farmers have also increased due to heavy rain in Sitapur of UP. The rain from the sky has caused heavy damage to farmers’ crops.

Heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh

Continuous in many parts of Madhya Pradesh. The ongoing rains have increased the hardships of the people. After 3 days of rain in Shivpuri, there has been a strong upsurge in the rivers and canals. In Badrwas’ Rampuria, people were seen crossing the submerged bridge, playing for their lives. Due to the rain in the upper areas of Mandla, the Narmada river has risen again. After the increase in the water level of Narmada river, the Kanhar, Budhner, Berger, Surpan rivers are also rising. Many villages lost contact with the district headquarters. After heavy rain in Ujjain, the Shipra river is also booming. Many areas of Katni, Ratlam are affected by rain and flood.

Many areas of Maharashtra are affected by rain 

Due to continuous heavy rain, Maharashtra including Thane Many parts are flooded. On Friday, some railway tracks of Thane railway station were also seen completely submerged in water. People are disturbed due to heavy rains in Mumbai and Konkan regions. Light rain is expected today.  The water level of Mula Mutha river has risen after the release of water from Khadkawasla Dam due to heavy rain in Pune.

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in many states of the country today. Some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand may receive moderate to heavy rain. Light to moderate rain at one or two places over East Uttar Pradesh, North Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, South Gujarat, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and parts of Madhya Pradesh.

Light to moderate rain is likely over rest of Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Karnataka and parts of Himachal Pradesh. Light rain is likely over rest of Northeast India, parts of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, rest of Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Jammu and Kashmir and Lakshadweep.
