Vande Bharat Express Train: Ahmedabad-Mumbai distance covered in just five hours, Vande Bharat breaks bullet train record

Vande Bharat Express Train: Testing of the new Vande Bharat Express train has been completed. This is the third Vande Bharat Express Train in the country. It is said that this new train has overtaken the Bullet Train in terms of speed. Due to this there is a happy atmosphere among the passengers. Many passengers feel that a train running at the speed of a bullet train will soon be seen running on the tracks.    

Bullet train record broken

According to the information received, the new Vande Bharat train reached the speed of 100 kmph in just 52 seconds during the test. By reaching this speed in such a short time,  Vande Bharat has also broken the bullet train record. A bullet train takes 54.6 seconds to reach this speed. The maximum speed of the new train is 180 kmph. The maximum speed of the old Vande Bharat Express is 160 kilometers per hour.

The video of this test has been shared by Union Minister of State for Railways Darshana Zardosh on his official Twitter account. Sharing this video, he has written that, “Vande Bharat Express – ‘Make in India’ is the glory of the vision.” This train is running on Ahmedabad-Mumbai track.”

The railway minister said that the new train can reach 160 kmph in 130 seconds. Whereas the old train took 146 seconds to reach this speed. Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Railways aims to start regular production of Vande Bharat trains from October and two to three trains will be manufactured every month. The number of which will be increased from 5 to 8 in the coming month. This new train has completed all the tests and is ready to run commercially.
