Vande Bharat Express Inauguration: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to give another gift to the Northeast on May 25. PM Modi will inaugurate Guwahati-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat on May 25. This new Vande Bharat train will run between Guwahati-New Jalpaiguri. Let it be known that Sanjay Chilwarwar, ADRM of Northern Frontier Railway, Katihar Division said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train through video conferencing.

Guwahati-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Train Timing

Guwahati-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat train will depart from Jalpaiguri at 6:10 am. Then at 7:56 it will reach New Alipurduar. 8:50 hrs will reach Kokrajhar and 9:36 hrs train will reach New Bongaigaon. Kamakhya at 11:45 and the last train will reach Guwahati at 12.

Katihar, North East Frontier Additional Divisional Railway Manager Sanjay Chilwarwar said that Northeast India Soon the first Vande Bharat Express train will run between New Jalpaiguri and Guwahati. This train (Up-22227-Down-22228) will run six days a week between New Jalpaiguri and Guwahati, covering a distance of about 410 km in 6 hours. The train will depart from New Jalpaiguri in Siliguri and reach Guwahati in Assam.

After launching Odisha’s first Vande Bharat train, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that PM Modi has set a target that Vande Bharat Reach almost all the states by June this year.

Railway Minister said that the Vande Bharat train to Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, may start soon. After this the trial run will start in Guwahati. Ashwani Vaishnav said that ‘the second Vande Bharat Express train may run on Puri-Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Angul-Roorkela route.’
