UPSC Result: Daughters of the country are creating history!  Girls occupied the first four places in the UPSC exam

UPSC Result: Daughters of the country are creating history in every field. Now in the examination held in 2022 for civil services, women have secured the top four places and set a record. The most important thing is that Ishita Kishore, a graduate from Delhi University, is the topper in the results this time. Harati N and Smriti Mishra secured the second, third and fourth positions respectively. Lohia and Mishra are also graduates from Delhi University while Uma is a BTech degree holder from IIT-Hyderabad.

It is also significant that for the second year in a row women candidates have bagged the top three positions in this prestigious exam. ’ has occupied In Civil Services Exam-2021, Shruti Sharma, Ankita Aggarwal and Gamini Singla bagged the first, second and third positions respectively. According to the commission, 933 candidates have succeeded in the examination, including 613 males and 320 females. It is important that among the top 25 candidates, 14 are women and 11 are men. UPSC selects IAS, IFS and IPS through these exams. 

Ishita Kishore, who secured the first position, took political science and international relations as optional subjects. He is a graduate in Economics (Hons) from the prestigious Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. Garima Lohia, who secured the second rank, is a commerce graduate from Kirodimal College of Delhi University. He took commerce and accountancy as elective subjects. Harati N. who is on the third place. Has done Civil Engineering from IIT-Hyderabad. He took Anthropology as an elective subject. Smriti Mishra has done her B.Sc from Miranda House College of Delhi University, and secured fourth position with Zoology as an optional subject.
