Umesh Pal Case: Mafia Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf, named in Umesh Pal’s kidnapping case, were brought to Naini Central Jail amid heavy security on Monday evening. The decision of the Special Member of Parliament Court of Prayagraj in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case will come on Tuesday. According to the authorities, this case is 17 years old.

This case is related to Umesh Pal, the main witness in the BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case. It is alleged that on 28 February 2006 Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf kidnapped Umesh Pal. After beating Umesh Pal, threatening to kill him along with his family, a forced affidavit was filed in the court.

Among the 11 accused, the accused named Ansar Baba has died. The court’s decision can now come against a total of 10 accused including Atiq and Ashraf.
