Umesh Katti : Death of Cabinet Minister in Karnataka Government Umesh Katti, Condolences from Prime Minister

Umesh Katti Death News:  Karnataka Food Civil Supplies and Forest Minister Umesh Katti  (61) (Umesh Katti News) passed away in Bangalore on Tuesday night. He collapsed after suffering a heart attack in the bathroom of his residence in Dollars Colony, Bangalore. He was admitted to MS Ramaiah Hospital. The doctor declared him dead there. He contested assembly elections nine times and was elected eight times.

His (Umesh Katti) body will be shifted by air ambulance. All procedures will be done after public viewing till 2pm at Sankeshwara. Last rites will be performed with state honors at Bagewadi Belagavi. He demanded an independent North Karnataka state from time to time. He contested the election for the first time on Janata Dal ticket. Later he joined BJP. Due to his death, holidays have been declared for schools, colleges and government offices in Belgaum district. His body will be brought to Belgaum in the morning and later taken to his native village Bellad Bagewadi.

Prime Minister Modi expressed condolences

Prime Minister Modi has condoled the death of Umesh Katti. In a tweet, the Prime Minister said that Umesh Katti was an experienced leader. who contributed substantially to the development of Karnataka. Saddened by his death. The Prime Minister has said that Om Shanti is with his family on this sad occasion.
