Inauguration by Prime Minister Modi

The construction of Mahakal Corridor started in 2019. This entire temple area is in two hectares and about 750 crore rupees will be spent for it. Out of the total construction cost, Rs 422 crore will be borne by the state government, Rs 21 crore by the temple committee and the remaining amount by the central government. After inspecting the corridor, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the corridor on October 11. He said that all preparations have been completed for that purpose.
