Superfast Internet, 5G will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi : India is  entering a new era of technology. Superfast Internet service will be launched in India from October 1 (Saturday, October 1, 2022). 5G service will be launched in the capital Delhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the 5G service on Saturday, October 1 at 10 am at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. 5G technology will provide better coverage, more data, less latency and highly reliable communication facilities. 5G technology will also increase energy efficiency, spectrum efficiency and network efficiency.

For the past few days, 5G was the talk of the country. Union Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had repeatedly said that 5G services will be launched in the country soon. He also said that the government’s target is to build 5G network in the country within two years.

What is different about 5G from 3G and 4G?
5G is the fifth generation mobile network, which transmits data at high speed. The speed of 5G is very high compared to 3G and 4G. Compared to 4G, 5G will provide ten times faster service. The feature of this service is that the entire end to end network is built in India.

How much revenue did the government get from the auction?
The 5G spectrum auction was held recently. From this, the central government received a bid of Rs 1.50 lakh. The government is likely to earn Rs 80,000-90,000 crore initially from the auction.  Meanwhile, India will benefit greatly from this technology after the launch of 5G services. Apart from this, India will get a big benefit from this at the global level as well. Indigenous 5G technology will help indigenous 5G private companies to make their place in the global market.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the 6th Indian Mobile Conference this time.
