The Indian Navy tweeted that this challenging night landing trial shows the determination, skill and professionalism of the crew of INS Vikrant and the Navy pilots.

Importantly, INS Vikrant is the first aircraft carrier to be built in India. It was built by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) in Kerala. This indigenous aircraft carrier was named after India’s first aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.
