SCO Summit: PM Modi leaves for Uzbekistan, may meet these leaders

PM Modi Uzbekistan Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for Uzbekistan. On the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Modi will be in Samarkand to attend the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State on September 15-16. Prime Minister Modi also issued a statement on Thursday before leaving for Samarkand to attend the Shanghai Summit (SCO). In which the Prime Minister said he is looking forward to an exchange of views regarding current issues, expansion and further cooperation within the group.

Prime Minister Modi on Friday met Russian President Vladimir Putin. , will attend the annual SCO summit, along with other leaders including Chinese President Xi Jinping and Iranian leader Ibrahim Raisi. Prime Minister Modi is visiting Uzbekistan at the invitation of President Shavakat Mirziyoyev. Uzbekistan is the current president of SCO.
