Sarla Thakral Death Anniversary: Sarla Thakral (Sarla Thakral) is the same name who for the first time actually taught women to fly on the heights of the sky. Seeing such simplicity, it did not seem that Sarla could have such big dreams. We are talking about the first Indian woman to fly a plane, who entered the cockpit wearing a saree. At the age of just 21, he got an aviation pilot’s license in 1936.

How Sarla took her training

Sarla started learning from a British two-seater tourist and training aircraft known as the Gypsy Moth. He was very eager to learn, so he quickly completed his training and soon after that he was cleared to fly. He completed 1,000 hours of flight time for the license. Sarla got her license in 1936 and registered her name in the history of the country.
