Sameer Wankhede Quote: Former Mumbai NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede was questioned by the CBI on Saturday (May 20) in connection with the corruption case related to the cruise drugs case of Aryan Khan, son of famous Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. . The central agency interrogated him for about 5 hours. After this Sameer Wankhede has said that this is the only agency which can get him justice.
After coming out of the CBI office, he said, “I answered all the questions. Today questions were asked on every aspect related to the case. The investigating officer was very professional. Have full faith in CBI. This agency can get me justice.” Earlier, he had reached the CBI office at 11 am. Then he submitted the documents brought with him. After this, after about 3 hours, he also came out of the office once.
Relief from the High Court
In this case, he got a big relief from the Bombay High Court on Friday (May 19). The High Court, while giving relief from arrest to Wankhede till May 22, asked him to cooperate in the investigation. At the same time, Sameer Wankhede said in the High Court that he has full faith in the judiciary and the CBI. The complaint is not with the CBI, but the NCB officials are targeting us.
In his petition filed in the High Court, Wankhede has mentioned the chat between himself and Aryan Khan’s father and actor Shahrukh Khan. In this, he told that nothing wrong has happened with Aryan. He gave the information about this chat to Dnyaneshwar Singh.
What’s the matter?
Sameer Wankhede is alleged to have allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 25 crore from Aryan Khan instead of making him an accused. Regarding this, CBI has registered an FIR against Wankhede. Wankhede also reached the Bombay High Court with a request to quash the FIR registered against him. Recently, the CBI had raided the locations of Wankhede regarding this. After this, the CBI had called Wankhede for questioning in the case on Thursday (May 18), but he did not appear.
