Sameer Wankhede News: CBI has once again sent summons to Sameer Wankhede, former zonal director of Mumbai NCB. The CBI has sent summons and called Wankhede for questioning again on May 24. Sameer Wankhede will be questioned at the CBI office in BKC.
A team of Delhi CBI officers will investigate in this matter. Even before this, Sameer Wankhede was questioned by the CBI for five hours. Former Mumbai director of NCB Sameer Wankhede has given a complaint to the Mumbai Police Commissioner. Wankhede gave a written complaint to the Mumbai Police Commissioner on Monday (May 22). Sources said that Wankhede said in his complaint that he and his family were receiving very serious threats.
Demand for Security
Sources have also claimed that Wankhede has also sought security from the Mumbai Police, referring to the threats he received in his complaint letter. Wankhede has said, ‘My wife and I have been receiving threats for the last 4 days and obscene messages are coming on social media. I will write a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner regarding this today (Monday) seeking special protection.’
Kranti Redkar receiving threats
IRS officer Sameer Wankhede had given protection from arrest till date by the Bombay High Court in the Aryan Khan drugs case. He said that he and his wife Kranti Redkar have been receiving threats on social media for the past four days. Sameer Wankhede’s wife Kranti Redkar is an actress.
Sameer Wankhede, who was the Mumbai Zonal Chief of Narcotics Control Bureau till the year 2021, has led the investigation of many high-profile cases of Bollywood. In this, Aryan Khan was arrested in the drug angle in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and in the case of Dugs on Cruise.
