A meeting of representatives of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee was held. In this meeting, a proposal has been passed for Rahul Gandhi to become the president. According to the information provided by the Congress spokesperson, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed the feeling that Rahul Gandhi should become the President of the Congress and take charge of the party. State President Govind Singh Dotasara has supported this demand. All the newly elected representatives present also presented their side.

 400 representatives of the Pradesh Congress Committee passed the resolution unanimously

According to the official statement released after the meeting, Chief Minister Gehlot It was proposed that the President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee and the AICC representatives in Rajasthan should be selected by the Congress President. State president Dotasara supported it while Congress executive member Raghuveer Meena approved it. This resolution has been unanimously approved by all 400 newly elected representatives of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee.  This has been submitted to the State Election Officer Rajendra Singh Champawat for presentation in AICC.
