IMD Rain Alert: In the last one or two days, light rain is continuing in many states with strong winds. Meanwhile, now the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has again issued a rain alert for 18 states. According to the weather forecast, there is a possibility of rain in Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Marathwada on March 16 and 17.
IMD tweeted that there will be a situation of thunderstorm, lightning and storm in these states along with scattered rains. Winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph. At the same time, there are chances of rain in the hill states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir on March 17 and 18. There is a possibility of thunder and light rain with lightning at many places.
How will be the weather in Bihar
In the weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Center, Patna, it has been told that the weather of the state will remain dry during the next 24 hours. Today the sky will be cloudy, while there is a possibility of lightening along with light rain at some places. Light rain can be recorded at one or two places in Bhabhua and Buxar districts of Bihar.
It will rain in UP
According to IMD, it may rain in many areas of the state from Wednesday to Thursday in Uttar Pradesh. A rain alert has also been issued in western UP. According to meteorologists, the main reason for this is the activation of Western Disturbances. However, after the rains, the heat will start rising once again.
Haryana-Punjab weather will change
There is a continuous change in the weather in Haryana and Punjab as well. The Meteorological Department of Haryana Agricultural University has issued an alert regarding the weather. Due to Western Disturbance, weather will change on March 18 and 19 and light rain may also occur.
