Ashwini Vaishnaw Inspection: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw visited the New Delhi-Ajmer Shatabdi Express on Sunday (March 19). During this he inspected the train. Also took feedback from the passengers present in the train. The video of the entire incident was shared on social media platforms in which he can be seen interacting with the passengers during the journey.

What did the Railway Minister say?

He has said in a statement that Indian Railways is going to take a new initiative on this route. The speed of the train will be increased by changing the track on the New Delhi-Ajmer route. Apart from this, he has also confirmed that the Vande Bharat train will be operated on the New Delhi-Jaipur route. The operation of the semi-high speed train will be started after the route is tested.

Apart from Rajdhani, Duronto and other trains, Shatabdi Express train is also one of the special trains of Indian Railways. This train is specially used for short to medium distance to connect metro cities to other places. Also Shatabdi train is considered to be one of the fastest running trains in India.
