Rahul Gandhi: Rahul Gandhi in preparation to make a dent in PM Modi’s stronghold, Congress will do this work in Gujarat

Gujarat Congress: After the cancellation of Lok Sabha membership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the party seems to be in an attacking mood. After one attack after another on the ruling BJP, the Congress is now the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah’s stronghold is preparing to make a dent in Gujarat. Gujarat Congress will organize more than 300 conferences across the state this month to highlight the failure of the government. A senior official of the party gave this information on Saturday (01 April).

Protest will be done

Rahul last appeared in a court in Surat on 23 March. The Surat court had convicted him in the defamation case and sentenced him to two years imprisonment. Thakor said that the protest will be held irrespective of whether the police gives permission or not. Not allowing peaceful protests has become a norm in the state.

Thakor said, "In a democracy, it is mandatory for the authorities to grant permission to protest on application. The Congress has decided to apply for permission at local police stations, and will continue with its program regardless of whether permission is granted or not." In the first phase, protests will be organized between April 6 and April 12 in 251 taluka centers to highlight the failure of the state government to maintain law and order and address issues affecting various sections of society.”< /p>

‘BJP does not care about law and order’

In the second phase, protests will be held at district and metro centers from April 15 to April 25. Targeting the ruling party, Thakor said that BJP uses anti-social elements who do not care about law and order. Police does not give permission for constitutional programs because the government is afraid of mass mobilization against it.”
