Actually, the woman boarded the flight with an economy class ticket but insisted on sitting in business class. When the cabin crew tried to stop him, he started shouting. He also assaulted the crew. The police have arrested a 45-year-old woman named Paola Perusio from Italy.

An official from Sahar police station said that they received a complaint from the cabin crew of Air Vistara Flight UK 256 on Monday (January 30). The flight took off from Abu Dhabi at 2.03 am IST on the same day. He said that at around 2:30 in the night, the woman sitting in the economy class suddenly got up and sat in the business class. Two members of the cabin crew went first and spoke to the woman. When they realized that there was no problem with the woman, they asked her to go back to her seat.

Meanwhile the woman started abusing them and when they asked the woman not to use foul language, the woman punched one of the crew on the face and spat on the other. A short time later, when the rest of the crew members arrived, the woman took off her clothes and started walking down the flight corridor. After much commotion, the woman was arrested. When the flight landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 4.53 pm, the female passenger was handed over to Vistara security officials and then Sahar police.
