PM Modi to visit Japan, attend Abe’s state funeral

Shinzo Abe State Funeral: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Japan. This time he will attend the state funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on September 27. Shinzo Abe died on July 8. He was shot from behind by a man in the Japanese city of Nara. He was then admitted to the hospital. But the doctors failed to save him. Abe was addressing a small public meeting when he was attacked. He also suffered a heart attack due to the bullet. So it was said that he died.

Prime Minister Modi has written in his blog that, "I had the opportunity to visit their home in the very beautiful Yamanashi Prefecture, nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji. I will never forget that moment. I will always cherish this honor in my heart."
