Petrol-diesel cannot be filled in cars without a valid PUC, Kejriwal government will take a decision

Petrol, diesel : Drivers in capital Delhi cannot fill petrol and diesel without an air pollution control certificate (Pollution Test Certificate-PUC). Because Environment Minister Gopal Rai clarified this on Saturday. He said that from October 25, PUC certificate will be mandatory for filling petrol-diesel at fuel pumps in Delhi. 

In order to curb the pollution caused by vehicles, the Delhi Transport Department has started action against those who drive vehicles without PUC. Along with that, PUC certificate has now been made mandatory for petrol pumps as well. A circular is likely to be issued by the Kejriwal government in Delhi on Monday. 

Kejriwal government in Delhi is going to start enforcement drive on petrol pump. In this, license of driving without valid PUC certificate will be suspended. Apart from that, a fine will also be collected from that person. Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that from October 25, you will not be able to fill petrol-diesel at petrol pumps if you do not have a valid PUC certificate. Measures are being taken to deal with vehicle emissions. Not only this, but also in the winter action plan. Pollution levels increase in winters…so many suffer. Therefore, a valid PUC certificate has been made mandatory for petrol-diesel filling from October. The transport department in the capital Delhi will issue a circular on Monday in this regard. The Kejriwal government has given a deadline of October 25 for the PUC certificate. After that no petrol can be filled in Delhi without a valid certificate.
