Painful road accident in Jammu and Kashmir, 5 dead and 25 injured

Jammu Kashmir Bus Accident: A major road accident took place in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir today. A passenger bus going from Jammu to Poonch went out of control and fell into a deep gorge near Rajouri, due to which 5 people died on the spot. More than 25 people have also been seriously injured in this accident, who are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

As soon as the information of this painful accident was received, the army, police and local people reached the spot and started taking the injured out of the cave and taking them to the hospital. Rescue campaign is also being conducted by the government. So far, 5 bodies have been recovered from the spot, after which the police is trying to identify them. The bodies have been sent to the nearest hospital for post-mortem.

Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha has expressed grief over this painful accident. He said that I am saddened by the death of people in the tragic accident that happened in Rajouri. My thoughts are with the bereaved families at this sad time. May God heal the injured as soon as possible. All possible help is being provided by the district administration.

A similar accident happened 24 hours ago

Earlier on Wednesday There was also a major road accident in Poonch. 12 passengers died and 28 were injured when a speeding overloaded minibus fell into a 250 feet gorge in the Burari Nala area of ​​Savjian bordering Mandi Tehsil of Poonch. The dead include three school students and four women. 10 school students were also injured in this accident. Six seriously injured have been airlifted to Jammu Medical College for treatment, where their condition is still critical.
