New Delhi: 58 civic services like driving license, vehicle registration and transfer of ownership will now be available online through Aadhaar card authentication. The Ministry of Road Transport and National Highways said that getting such services online will save a lot of people’s time. Apart from this, the congestion in regional transport offices will also be reduced and their operations will be improved. will come Uploading Aadhaar for learning license, duplicate license and license renewal will be at the discretion of the user. Aadhaar authentication for online services like international driving permit, change of address for conductor license, transfer of vehicle ownership will also depend on the individual’s choice. 

MoRTH has issued a notification increasing 18 citizen-centric services to 58 services related to driving license, conductor license, vehicle registration, permit, transfer of ownership etc, completely online, eliminating the need to visit the RTO.
