National Herald Case: ED sent summons to 5 Congress leaders for questioning, appearance will be on Tuesday

ED Summons Congress Leaders: ED has summoned five Congress leaders for questioning in the National Herald case. These leaders include Anjan Kumar, Mohammad Ali Shabir, Geeta Reddy, Sudarshan Reddy and Gali Anil. ED has asked these leaders to appear in Delhi on Tuesday (October 4). According to ED sources, when Rahul and Sonia Gandhi were directors of Young India Private Limited, these leaders had contributed to it. For the details of which the ED has summoned these leaders.

Earlier on Sunday (October 2), the ED charged Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar with running money in the National Herald, owned by the Congress party. was summoned for questioning in the money laundering probe. ED has asked him to appear in Delhi on October 7. This summon has come at a time when the Bharat Joko Yatra under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi has entered Karnataka. Shivakumar is involved in conducting this leg of the journey. The trip has entered Karnataka on September 30.

Young India office sealed  

ED now heralds case ‘ Several Congress leaders from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have also been summoned for questioning. Young is the owner of the Indian National Herald newspaper. Along with sealing the office of Young Indian in the month of August, ED raided a dozen places.

These leaders have also been questioned.  

In the last few months, the ED has questioned senior Congress leaders like Congress president Sonia Gandhi, her son Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Pawan Bansal in the National Herald money laundering case. . Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were interrogated for several days in this case. Congress had staged a nationwide protest against the action of ED. Meanwhile, the police had detained many Congress leaders.
