Passenger and freight trains will be able to run at high speed in these sections due to electric trains.
The speed of trains will improve
North-East Railway official told that electrification will improve the speed of trains in Northeast India. Apart from reduction in pollution due to shift from fossil fuel to electricity, the efficiency of railway system in this region will also improve.
