Maharashtra news: Maharashtra’s Dahisar police has arrested two people for making the video viral by clipping Prakash Surve, a woman MLA from the Shinde faction. Prior to his arrest, Congress worker Rajesh Gupta was allegedly beaten up by Shiv Sena workers and his face was inked. It is alleged that both edited an objectionable video of the woman MLA and made it viral.
Mumbai Police told that Samta Nagar Police has arrested a Congress worker named Rajesh Gupta and another person in connection with the making of the objectionable video. The accused was later handed over to the Samta Nagar police station in East Mumbai’s Kandivali. On the complaint of the woman leader, a case has been registered against another unknown person under sections 354, 509, 500, 34 and 67 of IPC and investigation has been started.

Mumbai Police told that Prakash Surve, a woman leader and MLA of Shiv Sena, recently became Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. During this rally, the video of the female leader and the MLA was viral with obscene text after cutting it. This video went viral on social media.

Allegations of defaming the woman
Shiv Sena workers had lodged a complaint on this at Dahisar police station. Now the police have arrested both the accused after investigation. Women say that if women continue to be defamed by such videos, then they will think before joining politics. He said that the Uddhav Thackeray camp did nothing during his rule. Now they want to defame a woman. He has condemned it.
