Now together we want to eliminate BJP from the country. Both the leaders said that we have requested Sonia Gandhi to call everyone together. On that she said that let the election of Congress president be held. Only then we will call everyone together.

This is the first meeting between Nitish Kumar and Sonia Gandhi after the formation of the new government in Bihar. Apart from this, Lalu Yadav also reached Sonia Gandhi’s residence at 10 Janpath after a long time. Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar held a joint press conference and said that BJP has done the job of putting many people in jail. He said that inflation, unemployment and poverty have reached a peak in the country. Nitish said that we both sat together and discussed with Sonia Gandhi. Now we have to work together for the country. Earlier, Nitish Kumar called for all opposition parties, including the Congress and the Left parties, to unite to take on the BJP, saying that this main opposition alliance would defeat the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
