Karnataka Election BJP MP Seeks Assembly Ticket: Karnataka assembly elections are round the corner. The last date for filing nominations is April 20. Because of this, all the parties of the state have geared up for the election campaign. In the Karnataka BJP camp, lobbying is going on for assembly tickets in several constituencies.
During this, BJP’s current MP from Koppal, Karadi Sanganna Amarappa has increased the religion crisis for the party. Actually MP Amarappa has demanded a ticket for himself from Koppal assembly constituency in the upcoming elections. He has been camping in Bengaluru for several days regarding this.
It will be difficult to give ticket to BJP
Sanganna Amarappa is the BJP MP from Koppal Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka. He has won the general elections twice in 2014 and 2019 from this Lok Sabha constituency. The BJP has already sent the names of the recommended candidates from Karnataka to the Central Election Committee for consideration.
Now in this sequence, MP Sanganna has demanded a ticket from the party to contest the assembly elections from Koppal. It has come to know from sources that BJP has already made a plan to field CV Chandrasekhar from this assembly seat. However, the BJP has not yet released the list of candidates for the Karnataka Assembly elections. It is expected that the party will announce the names of the candidates in the next few days.

MP Sanganna Amarappa is interested in contesting from Koppal assembly constituency. In this regard, he will meet Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and BJP Parliamentary Board member BS Yeddyurappa on Thursday (April 6) and convey his wish.
Actually there is a verbal rule of BJP that no ticket will be given to any MP and MLC in the assembly elections. Due to this, the party has lost three MLCs so far. Because of this, all these three have joined Congress just before the elections.

Karadi is lobbying hard to get the ticket and is claiming that this will be his last election. The current MP is already 72 years old. In such a situation, if sources are to be believed, if the party refuses to give him a ticket, he may demand a ticket for his son.
BJP MP Karadi Sanganna Amarappa is seeking ticket under Karadi Panchamasali quota in the upcoming elections. This Panchmasali quota comes under the community for which the government has recently increased the reservation by 2 percent. The Koppal MP has already lobbied through the sitting MLAs of the district.
He is said to have given the message that if he is not given the ticket, it may harm the party.
