IPS Officer Broke Teeth: The teeth of the accused were broken with Plas, the IPS officer accused of torture

IPS Officer Broke Teeth: A surprising case has come to light from Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. Here three people from Ambasamudram accused the police that they were first detained and tortured. The youth made serious allegations against Assistant Superintendent of Police Balveer Singh IPS for breaking their teeth. The video of the incident is going viral, in which the victim is telling about the torture done to Balveer Singh. According to the information, the name of the youth in the video is Chellappa.

Chellappa told in the video, Balveer Singh was wearing white gloves in the police station. Balveer called me inside after which other police officers held his hand and then Balveer broke his teeth with the help of Plas. His brothers and people from other factions also met the same fate. His brother was also tortured in the same way. My brother was newly married and now he is not even able to get out of bed because of the harassment.

Chellappa said that it has been almost ten days since the incident, but my brother is still not able to walk without any support.

Police also accused of threatening
Chellappa has accused the police of threatening him before producing him in the court. He told that the police told him that we do not have to tell in the court that he was beaten up in the police station. Also, if we were asked about our injuries, we were asked to tell the court that we fell from a tree while plucking coconuts or fell from our bike.

2019 batch IPS officer
Balveer Singh is a 2019 batch IPS officer from Haryana. The matter came to light when people talked about their experiences on videos that went viral on social media. Human rights activist Sudha Ramalingam said that this is a serious human rights violation. A police officer has to be a role model for his fellow policemen. For this, criminal prosecution should be initiated without any delay. The state government should provide necessary medical services to the victims.
