US on India-Pakistan Relations: The US has once again reiterated that it supports a constructive dialogue between India and Pakistan to resolve long-standing disputes. In a press briefing of the US State Department on Thursday (March 9), spokesperson Ned Price said that we support diplomacy between India and Pakistan. We are a partner and support any way the two interact.
Pak will not attend SCO meeting
Actually, the relations between the two countries have been uncertain for many years regarding the issues of cross-border terrorism from Pakistan. Even Islamabad is demanding restoration of Article 370 for the former Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir for any talks. Pakistan on Thursday decided not to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) chief justices’ meeting to be held in New Delhi on March 10-12.
Some members will personally attend the meeting
