IMD Weather Update: Terrible heat is going to fall from April to June, IMD said – the temperature will be higher than normal

IMD On Summer Weather : Severe heat wave is likely in most parts of the country between April and June. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday (April 1) that most parts of the country, except parts of northwest India and the peninsular region, are likely to experience above-normal maximum temperatures from April to June. The department said that heat is likely to remain above normal in most parts of central, eastern and northwestern India during this period.

Meteorological department has predicted rain in April as well.  Meteorological Department  says that there is a possibility of normal rain in April. Most parts of northwest, central and peninsular regions are likely to receive normal or above normal rainfall while east and northeast India are likely to receive below normal rainfall.

There will be severe heat in these states

About the possibility of severe heat, IMD Director General Mritunjay Mahapatra said that Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat , some parts of Punjab and Haryana are likely to experience more heat. The IMD said that during the summer season (April to June) in 2023, maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal over most parts of the country, except parts of southern peninsular India and northwest India.

What will be the temperature in South India?

He said that the maximum temperature in parts of South Peninsular India and North West India will be normal or below. can The Met department said minimum temperatures are expected to be normal or higher in most parts of the country, barring remote parts of Northeast and Northwest India and peninsular region.
