Amritpal Singh Surrenders: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has given a big statement regarding the arrest of Khalistani leader and ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief Amritpal Singh. Bhagwant Mann has said that if Amritpal surrenders, no one will be tortured. There is speculation about Amritpal Singh, who has been absconding for 14 days, that he may surrender before the Akal Takht in Amritsar.

When CM Mann was asked whether Amritpal had put any conditions for surrender, he said, "We assure him that no torture will be done, police will do their work within the limits of law."

Amritpal new video

Fugitive Khalistani separatist Amritpal released a new video on Thursday (March 30) saying that he has no intention of surrendering. He also said that he was not afraid of arrest and had no plans to flee abroad.

In the video, Amritpal Singh called himself a rebel while demanding to call Sarbat Khalsa on Baisakhi. Said, ‘I am not afraid of arrest but such difficulties have to be faced on the path of rebellion.’

Punjab police deployed drone

Meanwhile, the Punjab Police is continuing the search operation to nab Amritpal. The Punjab Police had deployed drones in a village in Hoshiarpur. Two days ago, the Punjab Police chased a suspicious car in Hoshiarpur, after which the occupants of the car fled leaving the vehicle behind. The police suspected that Amritpal Singh and his henchman Pappalpreet Singh could be traveling in the car. The police intelligence team recovered the car.

Amritpal returns to Punjab

There is input about Amritpal that he has once again returned to Punjab and is trying to enter Amritsar. At the behest of ISI, Amritpal Singh and his special officer Pappalpreet Singh had reached the Nepal border. Here both had to enter the Nepal border. After which, with the help of ISI’s sleeper cell, Amritpal and Pappalpreet were to be sent to ISI’s shelter house in another country. Due to the strictness of the Government of India, Amritpal could not cross the Indo-Nepal border, after which the ISI indicated to Amritpal to return to Punjab.
