CM KCR On Hyderabad Fire: Six people, including four women, died of suffocation after a fire broke out in a multi-storey commercial complex in Hyderabad’s Secunderabad on Thursday (March 16) evening. During the accident, 12 people were taken out safely with the help of hydraulic crane. Officials said that six people were found unconscious by the fire brigade personnel on the fifth floor of Swapnalok Complex, after which they were taken to the government hospital. These six people had died before being brought to the hospital.
Telangana CM KCR has expressed grief over this accident on Friday. CM KCR has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the dead in the fire accident. CM KCR expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved families.
CM KCR gave these instructions
The Chief Minister has also given instructions to the concerned officials to provide better treatment to the injured. CM KCR said that the government will provide all support to the families of the dead and injured. CM KCR has advised Home Minister Mehmood Ali and Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav to review the situation at field level and take necessary measures.
Short circuit fire
Officials said that 12 people were evacuated from the building using hydraulic platforms and six people who were unconscious due to suffocation were admitted to different hospitals. An official supervising the rescue operation said that the fire was brought under control after midnight on Thursday.
