Hajipur Accident : In Sultanpur village of Desri police station area of ​​the district, an uncontrolled truck driver has crushed many people on Sunday night. All of them were returning home after having dinner. 15 people died in this terrible accident. Along with this, many people have been seriously injured. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav have expressed grief over this accident. The incident took place around 9 pm on Sunday night. The central and Bihar governments have announced financial assistance on this accident. It happened around 9 pm in Vaishali district, about 30 km from Patna. At the time of the incident, people had gathered in front of a roadside peepal tree to worship a local deity ‘Bhumiya Baba’. Earlier, local Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA Mukesh Roshan reached the spot and reported the death of 12 people. He said that nine people died on the spot, while three others succumbed to their injuries while being taken to the hospital.

Vaishali Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar said, “ Barat was taken out according to customs. The marriage was scheduled in a few days at the house of a person from the nearby village of Sultanpur. The driver of the speeding truck lost control on the Mahner-Hajipur highway. We are trying to pull the truck driver out of the damaged vehicle, there is a fear that he may also be killed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over this accident. He has announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of those killed in the accident and Rs 50,000 to the injured. This amount will be given from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.
