Government’s big decision regarding ex-firemen, 10 percent reservation will be available in CISF

Reservation In CISF Jobs For EX Agniveers: Modi government has given a gift for the Agniveers. The Union Home Ministry has announced 10 percent reservation for ex-firefighters in vacancies in CISF. However, it depends on whether they are part of the first batch of Agniveers or the later batches.  Along with this, this announcement has come after amending the rules made under the Central Industrial Security Force Act, 1968, (50 of 1968).

The Agneepath scheme was launched on June 14

The Center had launched the Agneepath scheme on June 14 last year to recruit youth in the age group of 17 to 21½ years in the Army, Navy and Air Force. Those recruited under the scheme will be known as Agniveer. Also, 25 percent of the recruits from each batch will be kept for regular service after completion of four years tenure.

Agniveers will get a salary of 30 thousand rupees in the first year through Agneepath in the tenure of four years. With this, it will reach 40 thousand by the end of the year. In this, the old methods of army have to be followed for recruitment.
