Flights diverted: Due to Western Disturbance, the weather in Delhi became very bad late at night. 11 flights landing at Delhi airport were diverted due to strong winds late night. After this, emergency landing of these flights had to be done in other cities. The weather cleared around 2 pm and these flights left for Delhi again.

According to the information received, the Indira Gandhi International Airport was closed due to strong winds and rain in Delhi late on Thursday night. Air traffic at the airport was affected. In this, 9 domestic and 2 international flights had to be diverted. In this, apart from four flights in Amritsar, three in Jaipur, flights also had to be landed at Gwalior, Indore, Chennai, Ahmedabad airports.

Hong Kong-Delhi international flight Cathay-Pacific CX695 landed at Chennai airport.
Mumbai-Delhi flight Air India AI888 landed at Ahmedabad airport.
Bhubaneswar-Delhi flight IndiGo 6E2207 landed at Amritsar Airport.
Rajkot-Delhi Air India Flight AI404 landed at Jaipur Airport.
Mumbai to Delhi. Flight Vistara UK940 landed at Amritsar Airport.
Jharsuguda Delhi SpiceJet Flight SG8362 landed at Jaipur Airport.
Bangalore Delhi Flight Vistara UK818 at Amritsar Airport Landed.
Air India flight AI926 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Delhi landed at Amritsar Airport.
