Haryana News: Farmers have opened a front regarding the purchase of paddy in Haryana. Farmers have blocked the Delhi-Ambala National Highway in Kurukshetra of the state. Here on the highway, farmers have put up tractors and tents and sat on a sit-in. The demand of the farmers is that the procurement of government paddy should be started from 25th and 35 quintals of paddy should be purchased in one acre. This jam is located near Shahabad. A large number of police force has been deployed on the spot.

Change in traffic

Looking at the farmers’ protest, the traffic was also diverted. has gone There was a long traffic jam on the Delhi-Ambala national highway. Farmers are sitting on dharna for their demands. Farmers are angry due to non-purchase of government paddy. The farmers’ dharna on the highway has been going on for eight hours now and they are not ready to back down until their demands are met. They say that they will not leave until the purchase of paddy starts. Let us tell you that even after the meeting with the administration, no solution has been found for the purchase of paddy.

Gurnam Singh Chaduni addressed 

Let it be known that the purchase of paddy in the state will start from October 1. Farmers protesting under the leadership of BKU leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni. Addressing the farmers at the protest site, Charuni said that the government should start the procurement process immediately. Meanwhile, due to dharna, vehicles are stuck on the highway and people are facing problems.
