Eknath Shinde: ‘It is a matter of faith for us’, Eknath Shinde said on leaving for Ayodhya

Eknath Shinde Leaves For Ayodhya: Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde has left for Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya tour on Saturday (April 08) evening. He will reach Lucknow from Mumbai airport. After that worship will be done in Ayodhya. Along with Eknath Shinde, other Shiv Sena leaders and BJP leaders will also visit Ayodhya.

Actually, this will be his first visit after taking over as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra in June 2022. At the same time, Eknath Shinde will reach Ayodhya for the first time after the Election Commission recognized his faction as Shiv Sena and its election symbol Dhanush and Arrow was allotted to his party.       

Here is Shinde’s schedule

According to news agency PTI, Shinde will travel from Lucknow to Ayodhya on Sunday (April 09) afternoon and perform ‘maha aarti’ at the under-construction Ram temple along with others and later in the evening at the Saryu river. He is also scheduled to visit the ongoing construction of the Ram temple and will address a press conference in Ayodhya on Sunday afternoon. According to his aides, he will return to Mumbai on Sunday night.
