Delhi BMW Accident: Delhi’s Moti Nagar area saw havoc at high speed. Here on Sunday (May 21) at around 4 am, a woman driving a BMW car hit a man riding a scooty. After the accident, the car driver herself took the victim to the nearby ABG Hospital. From where his relatives took the victim to ESI hospital, but the person died during treatment.
In this case, the police arrested the accused woman by registering a case under sections 279/337 and 304A. At present, the accused woman has got bail. The 36-year-old deceased, who is said to be a resident of nearby Basai Darapur village, was going to his home with medicines. According to police sources, the woman is a resident of Ashok Vihar and was going to her home after attending a party from Greater Kailash.
Police impounded the car
Police has also got the woman’s medical done, only after her report comes, it will be known whether she was intoxicated or not. At the same time, the police is scanning the CCTV footage of the surrounding after this incident so that it can be clear that when this accident happened, what was the speed of the car at that time. The BMW vehicle which caused this horrific accident has been taken into custody by the police. Seeing the condition of the vehicle, it can be estimated that how terrible the accident was.
Had the accident happened during the day, there could have been a huge loss
Both the headlights at the front of the vehicle have been completely damaged. Both the airbags of the front seat of the vehicle are open and the glass of the rear window is broken. A generator was also kept at the place where the accident took place, in which the car hit and the generator overturned and hit the boundary of the road. The boundary of the road was also damaged due to the collision. It is a matter of pride that a tailor used to sit at this place during the day, if this accident had happened during the day, this tailor could have died.
Tailor Jeet Lal Das said that when I came in the morning, I saw that the generator was overturned on the boundary of the wall. I sit there where the generator fell. Had this accident happened during the day, I could have lost my life, but my life was saved.
