Covid-19 Cases: Positivity rate increases tension amid growing corona, 21.15 percent in Delhi, know the condition of other states

Covid-19 Positivity Rate: After the increase in the cases of corona virus, now the positivity rate has increased the concern. In the capital Delhi, the positivity rate was recorded at 21.15 percent on Sunday (April 9). According to the bulletin of the state health department, 699 new Covid cases were registered. Kerala is on top in recording new cases of corona infection. There has been a 200 per cent increase in Covid cases in Kerala week-on-week. Between March 29 and April 4, 7202 new cases were reported in the state. Since April 4, around 2000 cases are being reported daily in the state. Information about the positivity rate is not being given by the Health Department of Kerala. At the same time, after increasing cases in Kerala, the state government has made it mandatory for pregnant women to wear masks for the elderly.

Maharashtra

Maharashtra is among those three states where the positivity rate is more than 10 percent. 788 new corona cases have been registered in the state on Sunday. Maharashtra has seen an increase in cases of infection on Sunday as compared to Saturday (8 April). On Saturday, 542 new corona cases were reported in the state.

Uttar Pradesh 

On Saturday in the state corona virus were registered. Keeping vigilance regarding Corona in the state, the state government has made Covid test mandatory for the passengers coming from abroad. Along with this, it has been advised to wear masks in crowded areas.

Madhya Pradesh 

According to the data of the Health Department of Madhya Pradesh, about 25 new cases of Kovid-19 infection have been reported every day in April. The corona virus infection positivity rate has increased to 6.5% in the state.

Corona in the country

According to the data released on Sunday by the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, 5880 new cases of corono virus were registered, while 14 deaths occurred. The number of active cases is 35,199. The Covid positivity rate in the country is 3.39 per cent. Three people died of the virus in Gujarat, two in Himachal and one each in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh.
